FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LONDON, UK – 10 April 2026 – Renchlist, the independent UK-based moto-culture website for new-wave custom, retro, vintage, and classic motorcycle aficionados, has launched Renchlist Workshops, a standalone, curated directory connecting riders, collectors, and commissioners of bespoke machines with exceptional custom motorcycle builders.

The project’s roots go back to 2017, when Founder and Editor Nate Kwarteng launched CustomBike.cc as a repository of custom bike builders. The site quickly broadened its scope to include custom motorcycle stories, retro motorcycle news and motorcycle gear reviews, rebranding to Renchlist in 2019.

Connecting Riders, Collectors and Brands with Custom Bike Builders

Renchlist Workshops represents a return to that original mission, a dedicated platform for connecting custom motorcycle builders seeking commissions with riders, brands and collectors. The directory bypasses the volatility of social media algorithms by offering a pragmatic approach to discovering the right builder for a project.

Why Now?

Social media algorithmic bubbles and limited editorial space cannot satisfy the demand of riders, collectors and brands for custom machines. With the resurgence of custom bike building driven by New-Wave customs and retro motorcycles, there’s more demand than ever for custom machines. Prominent custom motorcycle outlets write about prominent custom builders and their machines. However, there isn’t enough editorial space to cover all expert wrenchers and their builds.

“Social media is a great discovery tool, with real limitations,” said Kwarteng. “Visibility depends heavily on a workshop’s reach and posting frequency, which means bike builders can go unnoticed in the ‘algorithm bubble’, especially workshops with social-media-reticent founders. Discovery shouldn’t be left to chance or whims; Renchlist Workshops exists to surface those ‘hidden gems’ that may be outside a rider’s peripheral vision.”

By providing a centralised hub, the platform negates discovery roulette by aggregating demand and supply on one searchable platform. Renchlist Workshops moves away from an ‘editorial whim’ that dictates which bike builders get exposure and gives workshops a functional way to connect riders, brands and collectors and vice versa,” Kwarteng added.

Global Motorcycle Workshop Repository

While the launch begins with, mainly, workshops from the UK, the platform is built for a global audience. Every listing is hand-selected and features builder biographies, verified contact details and galleries of completed work.

To help riders and collectors commission the right builder for their needs, they can:

  • Filter by build styles, including Café Racers, Scramblers, Bobbers, Street Trackers, Classic Restorations and more.
  • Search by manufacturer specialisms: Identify workshops with expertise in particular brands, including Triumph Motorcycles, BMW Motorrad, Honda Motorcycles, etc.
  • Search by Location:  Find nearby workshops by geographic location to facilitate site visits, face-to-face consultations, and local project management

Workshop Submissions

Launching with an initial cohort of 45 live workshops, Renchlist Workshops is actively sourcing and vetting submissions from builders in North America, Europe and Australasia to expand its international map.

Getting listed is free and straightforward, although subject to the platform’s discretion. Workshop owners from any territory need only supply a short description, a handful of images of previous builds and basic contact details. Builders can submit a workshop listing via the online form or by emailing Renchlist Workshops.
