Motorcycle airbag vests, jackets, and suits use advanced technology and materials to detect accidents, activating protective systems in a split second. Check out our full range of airbag-equipped race suits designed for high-speed track riding.

These suits combine the full-body protection of traditional motorcycle leathers, with the added security of an airbag system, offering top-notch defence against both impact and abrasion without compromising on performance.

Airbag jackets and vests can also be worn with a variety of other gear, ensuring you have race-level protection on long-distance tours or even your daily commute. These systems are designed to minimise the risk of severe injuries during a crash.

Some airbag suits and jackets feature tethered systems that activate once you’ve separated from the bike, while others rely on onboard sensors to detect accidents in real time. All use lightweight CO2 systems that are discreet, ensuring comfort, high performance, and dependable protection.

*Taken from the paper, “Airbag Jacket for Motorcyclists – Evaluation of Real Effectiveness” was authored by T. Serre, C. Masson, M. Llari, B. Canu, M. Py, and C. Perrin and presented at the 2019 IRCOBI Conference. These authors are affiliated with IFSTTAR, a French institute focused on transportation safety, biomechanics, and accident analysis. The study analysed 27 real-world accidents involving motorcyclists wearing airbag jackets. While this sample provides valuable insights, it is relatively small for drawing definitive conclusions about overall effectiveness across various crash scenarios. The paper acknowledges this limitation and suggests expanding the sample size to include more accidents and different airbag systems (e.g., autonomous systems).
