Eight bikes in Triumph’s Modern Classic family just received the Gold Line treatment. There isn’t any change to performance – simply exquisite, hand-finished, cosmetic detail that might just tempt riders to swing a leg over a new Bonneville.
Gold Line – Limited Production Run
Earlier in 2021, Triumph gave the Bonneville modern-classic range an overhaul. It tweaked various design aspects and improved the performance of its 900cc and 1200cc engines. Importantly, it made the range Euro5-compliant.
At the same time, it produced a limited edition of a sublimely painted, Street Twin which it dubbed Gold Line. The eye-catching design got an excellent reception. It sold out.
On the back of that, the British motorcycle marque has released eight new, limited-edition models from across the Bonneville range. To boot they’re all as beautifully painted as the forerunner.
These charismatic Gold Line models form a limited production run that will last for 12 months.
The Bonneville T120, T120 Black, T100, Street Scrambler, Speedmaster, Bobber and both Scrambler variants (XE and XC) – all benefit from these perfectly executed, subtly intricate, two-tone paint schemes. Customers will have the option to specify the Gold Line scheme at purchase.
Classic Hand-Painted Pinstripe Finish
All models have (with mastery) been hand-painted by Triumph’s paint experts and feature the Gold Line logo. As the Gold Line suffix suggests, gold pinstriping is the most prominent feature and gives all the models a strong classic air.
The finish of these motorcycles will hold strong appeal for aficionados of classic bikes and fans of the neo-retro Bonneville range. Furthermore, with the diversity in design, there’s bound to be a favourite for all admirers.
Aside, from an incredibly steady hand, it takes years of experience and tuned expertise to achieve the flawless hand-painted finish. It’s unsurprising then that the artists proudly sign completed work with their initials – making each bike even more special.
The Gold Line editions are available now from Triumph dealers, costing £600 more (for the Street Scrambler and T100) and £800 more for all other models.
