Ducati Café Racer, Carbon Custom: The Ducati Scrambler, Café Racer was created, after sales of the ‘Scrambler‘ outperformed everyone’s expectations, (including Ducati) and it has serious levels of appeal and cool. However, this Ducati café racer concept takes cool and appeal to new levels.
Will Nicholson who was featured last week, is back at it again with this superb custom Ducati Scrambler [Café Racer] concept. This thing looks super lightweight and agile. And with a carbon front fairing and body parts to match, it also looks somewhat stealthy!
Ducati Cafe Racer – Stock
Ducati’s ‘Cafe Racer’ inherits its design lines from the scrambler; as it’s essentially the same motorcycle give or take a few tweaks. As lovely as Ducati’s stock machine is; from a side profile it doesn’t have the lines of a more traditional café racer.
However more recently, no doubt buoyed by feedback for previous models and empowered through experience, the process for Husqvarna is becoming more expeditious.
Take for example the recently unwrapped Norden 901 Enduro/Adventure concept.
Will's concept embraces the traditional café racer lines; with a straight line from the front fairing, through to the tank and onwards to the seat cowl. That keeps the design of this concept simple and makes the bike more pleasing to the eyes. See Will's Instagram profile for discussion and or to post your own superlative!
